Ben is an experienced Business Founder, CEO and Director with over 20 years experience of starting, merging and re-launching IT product and service businesses including Mediasurface.com (founder & CEO) and Prevx Limited (Business Development Director).

Ben has hands-on experience of running rapid growth businesses through both boom and bust market conditions, bringing a focussed, driven and entrepreneurial approach to IT ventures.

During his time as CEO of Mediasurface, Ben was instrumental in growing annual revenues from inception to £10M, gaining global market visibility, winning flagship customer accounts and raising significant funding from investors including GE, Reuters, DKW, Amadeus, Elderstreet, 3i and Goldman Sachs.

Ben has proven experience of creating marketable product and service offerings to drive growth through customer revenues in key industry sectors including; Financial services, Local and Central Government, Education & E-learning, Media, Publishing & Entertainment, Manufacturing, Logistics, Cultural Heritage, Not-for-Profit, Telco, Media and Entertainment.

Entering the industry in the early 80's as a systems analyst Ben quickly built a broad base of experience in business application, business process and change management. Throughout the 80's and early 90's with this technical and business grounding he operated as a consultant to enterprises large and small seeking to undertake major technology and/or process change.

Ben excels at finding innovative ways to accelerate business development across all operational areas; vision and goals of the founding team, funding and exit strategies, company positioning and strategic partnerships, priority R&D activity, product and corporate marketing and creative go to market tactics to increase sales traction.
