Mike has held board level posts within, Chrysalis New Media, Digital Octopus Ltd, and RE UK in addition to providing part time CFO input to numerous early stage ventures. His broad contribution to these organisations spans the provision of fund raising, core business planning and strategic development financial and operations support with a particular focus on building towards a high value exit route. Mike has taken the lead role in acquisitions, disposals and company reconstruction as well as the management of complex customer & supply-side contracts & service level agreements.
With proven experience in the management of organisations operations and finance functions both prior to, during and following investment right through to trade sale or flotation Mike is able to bring much needed additional bandwidth to our clients management teams at crucial moments in their growth in key areas such as;
- Preparation and monitoring of business plans, due diligence documentation and liaison with advisers
- Securing of DTI guaranteed bank loans, R&D tax credits and grants
- Establishment of employee share option & flexible benefit schemes
